    Hello,

I am having my surgery with Dr Fernando Garcia this coming Saturday the 22nd. I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hotel Pueblo Amigo? I have mixed feelings about it but it looks less boring than the Marriott.

Highly recommend Marriott. They were going to put me in The Hotel Pueblo Amigo...but I said I would only stay in the Marriott. I researched the Hotel Pueblo Amigo...it has a casino, so (I read on certain websites) that it can be loud and smokey. If you like casinos, maybe this is a good situation. I thought it might be fun...playing there...but after consideration I decided that I wanted a quiet and smoke-free environment.

I loved the Marriott too. It is an excellent hotel and I wish I could have stayed there when I was feeling better. But in any case there was nothing boring about the place. Excellent service, lovely sheets & bedding and a mattress that felt like heaven. All the employees service oriented, on par & often above customer service at Disneyland or Nordstrom.
A casino atmosphere can be fun, I love Vegas. But you aren't going to feel like a party animal after the sleeve, trust me. I had a hard time even walking around I was so nauseous. I made it down to the lobby to buy peach nectar, which was the only thing I could keep down. I hope you do better than I did, but I don't think you are going to want to be playing the slot machines or being around a lot of noise & smoke.
