My husband finally came to full agreement about us needing this. So, now we have done everything we're required per insurance. We are just waiting for the approval and to schedule. We've been told that we are to lose some weight prior to surgery. I understand why but we have had difficulties in doing so. It's such a head game. We've been told that we should know within 30 days on the approval from BCBS. What will happen if we don't lose what we're supposed to? Will our doc make us wait until we do? What are other's experience with this? I know it will help if we do and I don't want to make excuses for why it's been hard. We've talked about how we have to overcome our mental issues on this so that we are successful. Also, as we get closer it becomes more real and a little stressful to think about as well. Any encouragement and motivation would help.
