I had a total thyroidectomy in 2009 and had an endocrinologist monitoring my levels. In January my pcp who is an internal doctor. I wonder if I should find a new endocrinlogist...just curious monitors other thyroid patients

My naturopath. My pcp did a terrible job because he refused to follow current thyroid level recommendations.

I had a total thyroidectomy the same yr as you. My endocrinlogist has been keeping a good eye on mine with the weight loss and it has been changed twice now and go back in July for another recheck on my blood work then.

I had a tt for thyroid cancer in 2011. I have an endocrinologist who monitors my levels. They have been checked approx. every 6 months he pretty much goes by the book. I will see him tomorrow for the first time since my surgery (5 weeks ago) so I will see if my weight loss has effected my numbers.
