How much weight have the March sleevers lost since starting the pre-op diet? My doctor says my weight should be falling off, its not. I've lost about 45 lbs since the start of my pre-op diet March 1st.
I was sleeved March 22, didn't do the pre-op diet so I didn't lose any. In 8 weeks, I've lost 78 lbs.
My surgery date was March 27th, and I have lost 31 lb.
I lost 10 on My pre-op diet and have lost 39 post op since march 13th for a total of 49. According to the national rates at 6 weeks you should be between 15 and 25% of your total extra weight. I was at 31 lbs at 6 weeks and right on track at 21%. So I think you are all doing fantastic!!
I was sleeved March 21st. Pre op and post so far 70 lbs.
Had surgery on 3/13. I've lost 44lbs and 16 inches.
Surgery date 27th March and have lost 43 lbs...
Surgery Date March 20,2013 lost 30 lbs and 17 inches
Surgery date 3/11/13. Highest weight prior to surgery 259, surgery weight was 243, and currently 201. So I have lost 42 lbs once surgery. Stalled in April for 2 weeks, bu now I am losing bout a pound a day. Ann
It might make a difference on your height - I am 5' tall so I had a high BMI. Those with a lower BMI might lose slower- I am happy with how it has gone.
Pre op I lost 20lbs. I got sleeved on March 19 and have lost 39lbs post op for a total of 59lbs
Surgery March 4. Lost 32 lbs. so far. I eat less than 900 calories a day. Exercise 2-3 times a week. No per-op diet
I was wondering why I wasn't losing like others on here. Could it be I need to exercise more?
My starting weight was 270 (I'm 5'7), I started my pre-op Feb 16, surgery March 1. I've lost 55 total, I'm 11 (and a half) weeks post-op.
I have lost 30 pounds in 8 weeks. I am thrilled... I was 207 and am 177 today! I am losing slower because my BMI was not as high as some. It is an individual choice and process. Don't get discouraged you are losing more weight and getting healthier by the day since being sleeved! Good luck and stick with it!
I had my surgery on march 11 and I have lost 96lbs.
I was sleeved on March 19, down 56lbs
I had my surgery March 4, and I've lost 29 lbs as of this morning. I had a 3 week stall though and had to really re-evaluate what I was eating. Now I've lost 2 lbs in 2 days! Whew! So glad I'm starting to lose again! It's been slow, but my doc is pleased so I am too!
Surgery Mar 21st. lost 28 pounds and 15 inches... from 258 to 230. I am OK with the (somewhat slow) progress, but it would be cool if it would fall off like your doctor says. By the way Wormie121, where did you find these statistics?
Surgery was March 15 and have lost 32. Slow and steady wins the race. I lose about 2lbs per week Working on building up the exercise and getting in more H20...

My sleeve was 3/25. My starting weight was 223 and I am 183 so I have lost 38 lbs so far. My doctor's opinion is the slower you loose it the more likely you will keep it off. I am very happy with my progress so far
My sleeve was March 18th. I'm down 52 pounds! I started at 254 and now I'm down to 202. I am extremely happy with my progress and going out to buy new clothes every weekend, lol. I can't believe I like shopping again
I've lost 55 pounds since my pre-op diet. I am a little over 4 months out and a bit disappointed my weight loss has plateaued the last 4 weeks. Going to start the 5 day pouch diet on Monday. Hopefully that will help get things moving again. I only work out 3 times a week so maybe I need to bump it to 5. :/
