I am on the last of my 6 months requirement and although I don't have a date yet; providing my insurance approves me my doctors says it will be sometime in march! Does any one know the turnaround for BCBS?

Before I decided to go private pay, my insurance approval letter from Anthem BCBS took about two weeks top. Good luck on your journey.

I think that BCBS can vary greatly from state to state, but I hear in less than a week. Now I'm just waiting on some sort of hospital/doctor/operating schedule mess to be straightened out. If I wasn't for that, I would be sleeved by now! I joined the February Sleevers, and then left and joined the March Sleevers. I'm really, really hoping that I don't have to leave and join the April Sleevers next!

I hope it is a fairly quick turnaround..... i am prepared to wait 2 weeks but nothing over that!

I haven't gotten a date yet either. I am hoping sometime near the end of March. Where are ya'll having your surgeries?
