Do you think it will be ok to dye my hair 2 weeks before surg?

I would check with your doctor. I'm sure a nurse in the office could answer that without bothering the doctor.

I haven't seen anything about dying it before the surgery. I have seen that you probably don't want to dye it after because you'll be losing hair already; why put chemicals on it and cause even more hair loss?

I have an appointment the day before I leave for Mexico to get mine done.

I have also just heard not to do anything after for 3 months, but I think prior you are good to go.

3 months?! I'm going to book an appointment and ask my stylist to dye my hair back to my natural color. I don't want to deal with roots AND hair loss on top of everything else post op. I'll reward myself for losing a ton of weight with a trip to the salon for a daring new 'do in 3 months.

Hair done now i just hope it stays in after surg no more gray for a little while at least

My hair is one gray and short because of chemo earlier this year.....I am going to color it and get it styled after it stops falling out again!
Being bald wasn't so bad.... Didn't get tangles on my motor cycle!
