Has any of you used the mouth guard instead of the cpap machine? I asked my doctor's office if I can have the surgery using the mouth guard.

Weelllll, what I have found is that although the mouth guard keeps you from snoring the apnea is still present. I spent the weekend with a friend of mine that made me aware of that fact. So if you don't want the CPAP then the sleeve is a great fixer of the Sleep Apnea. I scare my husband he said.

I'm using a cpap machine. The insurance won't cover the surgery if I don't use one since I have severe sleep apnea.
