My surgery was Jan. 8, 2012 and was accomplished with absolutely no problems. Dr. Alvarez and his staff we very professional and attentive to my condition and needs. I stayed in an excellent hotel before and after the procedure and was provided all the prescription meds to get through the first three weeks of recovery. I received an exit briefing on the meds and diet and a package of materials for reference. Thers is a set of on line videos which go through all of the various issues I need to be familar with during recovery.

The thing I appreciated the most was Dr. Alveraz personally sent an email to check on my travel back to my home and to encourage me to contact him with any problems or questions. How many of you ever got a follow up from you PCP ?

I would recommend him to anyone considering gastric sleeve.
