I am a nurse educator on a medical ward in British Columbia and am considering a gastric sleeve with Dr. Almanza. I have read a number of postings and watched numerous videos. I want to hear from those who know how things should be done. I feel especially vulnerable leaving Canada.Feedback please!

Hi Tricia, I am doing the same as you but in Sept, I booked it after getting ticked after being told I would have to wait for another 2 years after I already have waited 3!! One surgeon on the entire of Vanc Isl!! and being held back by budget in the amount of surgeries he can do!! I also feel vulnerable, but my worry is the trip home, what if....I will not be able to get travel insurance. I just keep saying to myself, nothing will happen and it is only a 2 hour flight home, once in the air back to coverage!!!
