Tomorrow I have to just drink clear liquids since it is the day before my surgery. I also work a full 8 hours and I am worried I will be almost dead by the end of the day. What did you guys drink for the clear liquid stage? I know you can have apple juice but I am diabetic and don't want my sugars out of control either. Any suggestions?

I too am diabetic & I drank crystal lite, powerade zero, I drank hot chicken bouillion & had sugar free jello & sugar free popsicles. On the pre-op diet, my blood sugars were normal so they took me off my pills, what a blessing. I'm a little over a week post-surgery & have added things such as the protein shakes, creamed soups - so far so good. Normal readings.
