My insurance company is NOT making is easy to get this process started...do any of the facilities help "fight" with the insurance companies or am I on my own with this?

What insurance do you have? I have BCBS I did not have a problem an it depends on what your Dr office insurance is saying to them.

What type of issues are they giving you? Most require 6 months medical monitored weight loss and a psych evaluation.

I have Cigna...and they are requiring 4 months... True Results says they fight for you and can work with you...I am going thru them ...seems to be easy enuf..but they are more business oriented and want to "check off the boxes" so to speak..but hey..I am getting my surgery and can find the rest of the stuff on my own...they do offer the EGD there and the Psych eval...the NUT appt wasnt what I wanted but I found a NUT at the hospital I am going to have the sleeve done at...Dr. Hollis is great...you might want to try him directly...good luck
