Anyone have problems with their belly filling up with air from their CPAP/BPAP machine?

I've been having a problem with my belly filling up with air ever since I've started losing weight. Even before surgery, I would be in pain because of it, it's now much worse than before. My original doctor changed the pressure settings on my BPAP before my surgery, but they didn't work, either. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep seeing him because he was almost two hours away, in a city near the one I had my surgery. I saw a doctor down here, by me, but he was really rude. I tried to explain to him that ever since the surgery, it's gotten worse. He wouldn't listen to me at all. He said the leaks in the mask and air in the tummy would go away the more I wore the mask and kept lecturing me for not wearing it. Duh! I had just told him that it didn't get better! Anyway, I decided to look for another doctor and found a sleep specialist about 1/2 hour away from me, which isn't bad. I see him next Tuesday. I really hope he listens to me and considers following the advice of the respiratory therapist where I got my machine from. She and the head of the respiratory department, at the pharmacy I go to for my equipment, both recommend automatic settings as I am losing weight. If he won't try that, I am going to ask about another sleep study, as I have lost over 100# since being diagnosed. I haven't used it in a while, now. I know it can be deadly, as my uncle died from untreated sleep apnea. I have to admit, that I'm sleeping good without it, though. I don't snore, and my husband has said that he's never heard me snore or stop breathing! I'm sure it's not gone(I had over 700 apneas during my study), but I don't understand why I can sleep so well without the machine now. Of course, I never sleep well with the machine due to my problems, but I didn't sleep well prior to be diagnosed with it. Anyway, I just wonder if anyone else has had any problems with their stomach while using their machines?

My doctor set me up with an automatic machine because he knew I would be having the surgery and wanted the machine to adjust to me. Does sound like what you need. Congratulations on the weight loss!!!

I have had to reduce my CPAP pressure on a regular basis because of this.

Thanks, everyone! Sorry for not getting back here, sooner! I forgot you don't get notifications of replies in groups. Or at least I don't. :/ I am hoping that the doctor listens to me this time! I'll know Tuesday!
