Being in our 30's do you think we'll heal faster?

I'm actually in my late 30s already... how did that happern? I'm making the journey to Tj alone to be sleeved. I'll fly back to our nearest airport, then drive 2 hours home by myself.
I can do this right?!! I am very independent, have a high pain toleranc, and most important A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. I don't think I'll have any problems doing this by myself. (hubby will be home taking care of the 4 kids)

Thanks for your thoughts and advice!

Wow, you're a brave one! I don't know that I could go to TJ and be sleeved all alone.
As for the drive home, DON'T. You may still have anesthesia and pain meds in your system which can slow your reflexes. And speaking of reflexes...if you have to slam on the brakes for any reason, you can tear your internal stitches. This is NOT good.
Try to see if someone would act as your chauffer. Heck, if all else fails and you're near-ish to the KC metro, I might be able to help you in that regard. But don't drive.
