Six days out from surgery, I broke out in a rash and can't stop itching/scratching. Any body else had an allergic reaction to any of the meds the doc has given?

No, no med allergies here. But I did have a lot of problems once I got home and kept changing my bandaged (my own) I found out I'm allergic to latex. And even the fabric latex-free gave me problems. I had more damage on my skin from all the brandade changes (once a day) than from the insicions themselves. I was pretty happy to stop wearing bandages after I took the stitches out on the tenth day! So maybe a suggestion in case it's just the bandaid problem like it was for me?

I read that another person was allergic to the liquid med (can't remember what it was). But a 6 days out you should be fine without any or can switch to another brand and see if that is the problem. Good luck!
