Its just miserable. After 3 benadryls, a Klonopin, and a Ambien I'm tossing and turning at 3 am. So tired to this! I know it seems like a lot, but what can I do? I can stay up till noon the next day if I don't take meds. I don't use a machine, and hear that I don't even snore. I have a hard time getting up at a decent time for going to sleep so late Now I have cut down one benadryl and add one Klonopin. P.S. My Ambiens are 10 mg, and my Klonopins are 1mg.

judy -- you need a doctor who knows more about this and a sleep study.
just because you don't snore doesn't mean you aren't having apneas (stop-breathing episodes). if you have sleep apnea, without the machine your breathing stops hundreds of times a night. you can't get to sleep no matter what you take because your brain thinks (reasonably) that you will die in your sleep. please get a referral to a sleep specialist if your regular doctor is out of their depth.
wishing you a good sleep soon,
    nel
(a doctor who uses a cpap machine every night)

I'm going to my regular Dr, and he is gonna see if he can order me a sleep study. My sleep pattern is making me miserable!!! I was hoping losing weight would help. And also I was having back aches, went to chiropractor and it helped a little. At 33, and 230 I'm falling apart

I'm afraid of what they might find My Dr said he would order a sleep study, its pretty horrible feeling when you are so wound up at 2am after taking meds that should put you on your a$$. I was hoping getting sleeved and excercising would help my condition? I'm afraid of having to sleep with a maching
