Had my pre-op appointment on August 24, was told it would take 5-6 hours. I was really dreading that. I went to my Dr's office 1st, which took 45 mins, then was sent to the hospital for registration (this is where the long wait was to come from) but they took me right in and had everything done in less than 2 hrs. My surgery is scheduled for September 1 at 7:30 in the morning, I will be the first one for the day

You are a month out now...how are you doing?

Hello everyone!! Well I am now 7 weeks post-op and everything is going great. I am down a total of 50 lbs. Been losing rather slowly the past couple of weeks but the inches are still coming off. My biggest challenge is dealing with nosy coworkers and inmates ( I am a correctional officer at a men's state prison) And then I don't have time to actually sit down and eat lunch at work so that creates another issue.
