Any advice on how to slow down when eating? Number of times chewing? minutes between bites ETC?

I have the same problem (eating too fast) and a bit much. Each time I have done it, I get the "foamies". Twice I have thrown up which is a big deterrent for me.
I try to do something else while I eat so I don't have my hand on the fork the entire time. Playing a video game, typing a letter. I know that eating more consciously and mindfully is important, I find it easier to slow down if I am doing something else that requires my fuill attention for a period of time so I can take sufficient breaks between bites. That seems to work for me.
