I just booked my surgery for 2/24 for lap band revision to gastric sleeve.

I travel today and will be having my surgery on Friday. God willing, all will go well.

How long have you been banded and what has prompted you to have a revision?

I had my lap band removed yesterday (Feb. 10), and my Dr requires 6 months of healing time before doing sleeve. I'm not thrilled about 2 surgeries. This one has been very painful...much more than I thought it would be. There was a lot of scar tissue at my port site. Now I'm healing and doing all my pre op stuff for the sleeve.
