Hello, I am 2 months into my 6 month program for the bariatric sleeve and I have a few worries about the medications I'm currently taking. I've been on some kind of medicine since 1992, through the ups and downs of different meds and finally found a cocktail that works great for me. I hope my dr. doesn't switch me again. some of my BMI of 54 and weight of 322 lbs.

I understand your worry - adjusting meds really sucks! I am 7 weeks post-sleeve, and am taking Lamictal and lithium. It's been really easy (so far). I have paid close attention to my symptoms, and my psychiatrist had me do a lot of lithium checks. I have gone down on the lithium by half, but the Lamictal stayed the same.

Maybe it won't be as bad as you think, either!
