My surgeon doesn't require a pretty opt diet. I know some do and so don't, but I have still been eating very light. Can't gain any weight or they will not do the surgery and I don't want that. For the ones that did not require you to be on a pretty opt diet what did you do? I want to continue losing so any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Sorry Preopt diet. One of the biggest thing you can do is try to cut your carb intake down to below 35 a day and this will help with losing weight and make it easier post-op.

Anouther thing you could do is up your fluid intake to at least 86 ounces the more you drink the more weight you will be able to lose faster and you will need to get use to taking in that much once you have WLS
