Anyone taking Lyrica after WLS????

Yes i take lyrica 100mg 2xs a day. No problems with ny weight loss.

Hi Mrsdez..Wanted to ask you a fee questions. What type of symptoms do you have with the fibro and has the WLS helped you? I am glad you are not having any problems with weight loss being on the Lyrica. I am concerned about it and my surgeon said it is a problem me being on it after surgery because of the weight gain but I have tried to go off of it and it doesn't last one day. I gained 24 lbs in 3 months! He said any medication that causes weight gain is a problem. Also are you able to exercise? Right now i can only swim due to the pain. I am hoping once I lose some weight I will be able to do different exercises. Thanks.

I'm still on lyrica, 2 weeks post ops, I've lost 17 pounds. I feel great. My glucose is still not where I thought it would be since surgery. I'm type 2 and really thought I would be off all diabetic Ned's by now. One thing I have learn since I started this journey, everyone's body responds differently.
