I'm new to this group but have been browsing the forums for a few months just reading and learning....I got my surgery date today! September 14th and I can't wait. My insurance/doc requires 6 months of nutrition appointments and I have been attending them since March. I have not lost a lot of weight doing it and I have some really good days and then a few bad days here and there. But I am ready for this change and to use this tool to make a life long commitment! Can't wait!

Hi and welcome, Congrats on being able to schedule the date. That's exciting, in itself. I haven't had my surgery either, but am very excited, surgery scheduled 8/17. That's good that the insurance is going to pay for it, even with all those hoops, they figure, well if you want it bad enough, then you will get everything done. If not, then you don't want it.
