Hi, I am a Hashimoto's thyroidus gal. Recently my numbers have been wacky. I was in the 2s in the fall and then in January I was in the 20s, and now a month ago I was in the teens. I don't worry about it much, but now I am reading that some folks are turned down for surgery after the blood tests are taken in Mexico! I live in the northeast and do not want to travel out there for nothing. The doctor upped my dosage and I am starting my higher dose today. I had been sick in January and we thought that maybe the numbers were off because of meds I was taking (Metronidazole). But now it appears that I need adjusting. Will they turn me down? I can get a blood test right before I leave and this drama may be all for nothing but just wanted to see if anyone has information. Thanks for reading and glad I found this group! Best, Jodi
