I have been reading about different stories all over the place about experiences. I start my liquid diet Tuesday so the reality is starting to kick in that we are getting close.

Mine is August 1st

Aug 13th Mexico -yes...reality has not yet kicked in. But I am eating way more than I normally do.

I'm august 20th! Liquid diet is not required before surgery with my doctor but iv seen some doctors require a two week liquid diet before.

I am the 13th in Mexico and I examine each bit of food I eat as something I may not want afterwards. I start my pre op diet on the 8th, but I am ready now. I am not as nervous as before, all the arrangements are made for the flight, my bag is ready, I've only told a few people and my husband is coming with me. This is an adventure of a lifetime, and I feel very fortunate to have this happen to me. There is a sense of relief, because for the first time I have admitted to myself how big I am. Knowing there is help in sight, I am not afraid to admit to myself, look at myself and be embarrassed about all the things we go through. Breaking chairs, not fitting in chairs will never be a problem again. Yea for all of us.

I am scheduled for surgery on Monday the 18th - down to 2 weeks! No pre-op diet to follow: ordering protein powders & vitamins for after. Anyone have suggestions on the whole vitamin plan?

I have surgery for the sleeve on August 7th. Had Pre-op today and blood typing as well as pre-op class to go over each step after surgery. I am ready to go. I am below my surgery weight and scheduled for surgery in the morning. Ready to go and ready for the change.

My date is 26th. Going for pre-op assessment on Friday. I think then it will feel a bit more real. Trying to absorb as much 'real' information as I can.

August 19. Had my pre-op today! All set. Start ten day full liquids on Saturday

Im Aug 15th. Anyone else have that date? Im a lil nervous but more excited!

My date is today Aug 22nd.. they are picking me up at 9.. so ready for this

August 28th!!! So excited!! I have been on a liquid diet for 2 weeks with a few saltine thrown into soup. So sick of soup. The end is near.

I am scheduled for the 29th!! Yay!!!!

My surgery was August 13th. I met some wonderful ladies who made it less scary. Glad I did it!
