Had a great ride today. We had to trailer about 30 miles to get out of the snow but had a very scenic ride on the cliffs overlooking the Snake River coming out of Swan Valley, ID. We worked our way down one of the canyons to the river so the dogs could drink and swim and we had a little lunch. My seat shrinker pad works great and kept my shrunken butt firm in the saddle even with a little "spring fever" behavior from my horse.
THAT IS FANTASTIC NEWS!!! I can't believe you still have snow, but then again we did 2 weeks ago. Very strange spring. I'm sure you'll feel it tomorrow but boy is that a nice thing to be sore from. I haven't asked my Dr yet about timelines to return to riding. I did manage to get my husband to drive me to the barn after my follow up apt today so I could watch her in the pasture.
So jealous!!!! Our AC is running as I type this. But this is the best time to ride in So. Louisiana. The weather is gorgeous! Wish i had a horse to ride.
Ps love the pictures!!
