I can't believe in less then 6 hrs I will be in surgery. I'm so excited to start this new adventure of my life, of course I'm nervous also! Three years of deciding and now the time has come. Will let you all know how it goes

Thank you all! Surgery went well. Just got up to walk for the first time. Worse part so far was no drinking anything not even ice chips. My throat is so dry. Definetly sore but the meds help and I take them every three hours. My surgery started at 7:30 by 9:00 I was in recovery room, did have some complecation with bleeding too much so I had to stay in recovery room for 5 hrs before I went to a private room. So all is good and I'm happy I'm on my way to a better me!

Any updates for us? How are you feeling? Any do's and don'ts?
