I am pre op and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 5 years ago which resulted in a total thyroidectomy. I take Armour thyroid, use to take synthroid but Armour has made me feel most alive. I am curious if being hypoactive has a great affect on weight loss after the gastric sleeve. So please let me know your experiences if you have already been sleeved and either have no thyroid or a very low thyroid function

I had my thyroid removed in 2009. I don't know if it is from this but I don't lose as fast most individuals but I think I do pretty good.
