Hey guys, well I had my pre admission testing, preop teaching yesterday I had my husband with me but being the impatient person he is and he handled pre op teaching ok but he didn't think pre admission testing would be 4 hrs. They were backed up. There was only 3 of us for preop teaching and I was the only female in the group besides the nurse. I started my pre op liquid diet today. OMG I am starving. My list is pretty limited and I know this will all be worth it in the end. Suggestions on how you guys that have already gotten sleeved gotten through this part especially the hunger.

I was full on the protein drinks and you can have soups too right. Goal is surgery and less side effects from anesthetic along with shrinking the liver. Just keep your ultimate goal in mind I am now two weeks post op and am still on liquids and am not hungry,in fact,have to make sure I drink. It gets easier as you go along. Hang in there!
