I get asked on a daily basis how tall I am. As a busy, ER RN I meet about 40 or so new people a day, but it gets so OLD. Nobody asks short or fat people how short or how "fat" they are. One good thing about being tall is when you gain weight it's not as noticeable, but it's the same when loosing weight too! Ahh, the life of a 6'0 tall woman.
Agreed, I always hear from family that I don't look big because of my height. I suppose that is a good thing, but loosing weight for me is about starting a healthy lifestyle. I think over time people that you work with and are close with will notice the body changes, and those that don't see you often will definitely notice the new you.
Good thing: you can gain weight without it being as noticeable Bad Thing: you lose weight and it isn't as noticeable either!
