Started my 6 protein shakes today. 2 weeks from today is sleeve day. Nothing like ringing in the New Year in a hospital room

Good luck. I was sleeved 12/12/13. I do have to admit that it is probably a bigger surgery than I initially thought. I feel like I've done well and did not have to use pain meds after I left the hospital. I think that was in part due to the input I got from this site. I told my husband to make sure I walked the halls several times during the night even if I didn't want to. It got easier each time. I've had no indigestion or heartburn. My college age daughters tell me I scare them though - moving around the house like I'm pregnant - and yes I kinda look pregnant!! Overall it has been great, the weight is coming off, and today was the first day I had any thought of "I'm hungry". Good luck @bigredrn76.
