Can't belive how bad my belly hurts I think it is gas pains,but I feel like i am haveing a heart attack I am taking meds but no helping a lot.

Hi! I had my surgery on Tuesday and when I woke up it felt like I could not breathe. I knew this would happen, as a friend told me about it happening to her. It went a away in a day. I am experiencing a little reflux (burning) after I drink a sip of my protein drink. I need to call my dr for something to help with the burning.

I've seen lots of R.N.'s who've recently had VSG surgery recommend Gas-X strips. Probably best to check with hour Dr. Gas and heart burn seem to be pretty common post-op. I can't fathom gas or heart burn hurting as bad as everyone is saying, but I'll be bringing Gas-X strips with me, just in case. I hope you find something that helps soon- and please let us know!

Yes take the gas-x strips and make sure you're walking a bit
