How has your flying experience changed???

I am 6 weeks post op, and my wife and I went on our first trip since the surgery. We flew from San Francisco to Dallas (for the Megafest conference), and for the first time in YEARS... I was able to fly on a plane without a seat belt extension.

I know for some of you that may be a silly sharing experience, but for me... I was ready to get up and run up and down the aisle of the plane and shout out loud....I DID IT...I DID IT... WOOOO HOOO!!!

I am down from an original start weight of 400lbs to 317lbs (surgery weight was 345).

Let me encourage you all like so many of you have encouraged me... this is the BEST process to change you could ever take. Just make sure to work with your doctors, do your research, and make the right steps and commitments to make your journey one of success.

    Blessings,

    EWP

    Congrats!

I plan on flying home to FL for Christmas and I am hoping I will be able to fit in a regular seat (I usually have to buy a big seat in the front of the plane which is quite costly).
