Went for my one week followup today. He was so impressed with my progress he said he would see me in 6 weeks...Woohoo Stopped on the way home and had some refreid beans...oh la la...was amazing.....So very happy...

Yay John! Way to go! How are you feeling at one week? Bet the refried beans tasted like heaven....one of my new favorite meals is a bowl of refried beans and a bowl of shredded chicken from Fuzzy's Tacos, mixed together. Feeds me for 3 meals and tastes wonderful (I am 9 months out). Cheers.

Woo Hoo! You are doing great. I am so jealous of you guys who get to eat stuff so soon. Post surgery I was 3 weeks liquid and am on my second week of pureed (mmm - I love those refried beans)...
