Finally found a doctor who would listen to me!

    Hi everyone!

I saw a sleep specialist on Tuesday and he was really nice. He has lowered the pressures on my BiPAP and set it at automatic settings. Not sure how that works, but he explained it to me. He also ordered me a new mask, but I can't get it until June 19th because Medicare only covers one new mask every six months! I'm counting the days, as my full face mask still leaks! I see the doctor again next month, and he will let me know if the pressures need to be adjusted higher or not. They probably will, but his goal was to get me wearing the mask on a regular basis! I've been sleeping well with it, except sometimes the noise from the leak gets too loud! I've been finding myself rolling over onto my back to escape hearing it!

    Hope everyone is doing well!

You cna look online for how to setup your cpap/bipap so you can make changes yourself. Most are fairly easy.

Thanks. I've seen that, before. I get very confused by electronics...lol. I believe my doctor's office will do it for me if I bring my machine with me.
