Loving ourselves is one of the hardest things most of us here have had to do. It's easy to love others. It's easy to seek out the good in those we love and care about. Why not ourselves? I was fortunate growing up with parents who taught me I have much more to offer the world than beauty. I am funny, intelligent, caring, kind, responsible...those are the things that matter. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". No one looks at us more than we do ourselves, so let's look beyond what others can't (or won't).
