Hello everyone, I had my surgery on Sept 1. When Dr. Richard went in, he found a hernia on my diaphragm and an ulcer, so that was repaired also. I did well with recovery and the pain. I had more pain with my gall bladder surgery and 2 c-sections. I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days, the 1st day I couldn't get in any liquids by mouth without my chest hurting really bad. I did the dye test for leaks, no leaks but the fluids were pooling at the top of my stomach which in turn caused the horrible pain in chest. Dr. Richard said it was muscle spasms so I had to get muscle relaxing shots in the legs. That was also very painful. But it did work, I was able to drink fluids on the 2nd day, so I got released last night. Very glad to be home!!
