On Wednesday, I realized that my GP was off on holidays, and since I was not going to wait until next week, I spoke to the nurse, and decided to give a try to the H2(Zantac).
It's been three days, I did lower my carbs a bit, but not that much...and surprise!!
6 pounds lower!!!
So I won't jump up and down right now since it has to be showing up several times on the scale to be "real" and not just water retention getting better...
But the encouraging thing : my fat% is still decreasing too! FINALLY!!!
But to be true, after three days, and I'm really going low acid and everything, H2 is not strong enough to contain my reflux (which is much much worth since the hiatal hernia). It's coming back and two nights ago, even in my incline position, I woke up at 2 AM choking on my reflux. Awful...
So I give it one week (because when one stop the PPI the reflux increase like crazy, then goes down) I hope the point of going down is coming soon...
At least I know that stopping the PPI will help to get ride of the unwanted regain! that's good news!
