5 Months tomorrow

Hi All

Well, what a difference time makes.

Here I am now down from 14 and a half stone to 10 and a half.

I work in KG as it inspires me to see the numbers coming down in a way that I feel happy with.
I was 207 pounds thats now 149 pounds.

I can only get my head around pounds as from now as it felt too hard to focus on each pound in my mind for some strange reason.Probably my habits in the past, but I did this and I honestly did not expect to have lost this amount of weight so soon. I was expecting this to take about a year.

But once it started I set my self tiny goal,s you know write everything down.
Pay attention to variety in food and nutrition.
My attitude is so changed as I have more energy and I am Happy because I don't feel out of control anymore.

So Life is good!
I am enjoying the benefits of health and the research of many new things such as pilates and nutrition and excercises and lotions to hydrate the skin.
I use nivea tightening cream on those wrinkly areas and bio oil on my scar and all sorts of lovely moisturisers for my face just enjoying the hydration that I benefit from.

I swim 20 lengths at least every day.
I walk my dogs.
I use dumb bells.
Pilates.
I ride a bike everyday and do set myself a goal as to how far extra each time.

I wear clothes that makes me feel good about myself instead of dreading what I am going to put on.
Oh and I socialise more and smile a lot more and I am back to my old self which makes me feel I can join in with everything that I want to do instead of feeling I had to hold back.
Long may this continue.
Thanks for reading.
Thanks for being there!

    So happy for you!

I think the clothes are the most fun, instead of wearing was was the least ugly, I get to wear anything I want and it looks good. EVERYTHING in my closet fits. I don't think I could have said that in probably 30 years. I gave away each piece of clothing immediately when it got too big. I think socks are the only thing I kept as even my shoes got too big.

    Ahh Thank You so much.

I have posted a before and now photo.
I am nervous to show my face as I have not shared my surgery with anyone other than my hubby.
    Sorry about that.
I am not there yet but as both Edie and sraebaer have said it just happens and it did in time for my birthday last month and I felt it and yes I could see it myself.

I don't know how to put the images on this part of the forum but not to worry they are there in my profile.
I now need to start chucking clothes - thats the next on the list.
And the rest of those kilos.
    xx

You are doing so great! Love these inspiring success stories.
I love buying new clothes that are smaller in size each time. The local charity shops have benefited greatly from my surgery with lots of donations going their way.
Keep up the good work Pudsley.
