Something in my throat.

So I've been getting this feeling in my throat right in the neck area. Like I have food stuck there. I know there isn't because it goes away sometimes. It happens long after I have eaten. Anyone else experiencing this?

    I had a similar feeling after surgery. I am 1 year out now and the feeling is no longer! Hope this helps.

    Might be something to do with GERD, are you on a regular PPI? Mention it to your doc. Also happens in people without this surgery and is generally minor and nothing to worry about. but see the doc because that's what they are there for :-)

    I know my surgeon warned me about this exact thing like this and that is why he had me take Prilosec for the first two months after surgery.

    Are you on anything for heartburn? I had issues for a few months but no issues now.
