12 days to go

Rate this Entry
Day four of my pre op shakes. I am hungry but I put away the temptation by going outside and doing some gardening.
The family came over and had fish and chips( our usual Friday night special)
I handled it well. The smell was yummy but I sat with my salad and ate that.
I know there's an end to this torture of starvation. I hate dieting!
That's what put me in this position.
I have a daily talk to myself in the mirror. Sounds corny but I'm listening.
I've lost 3kgs already so that excites me too, I haven't lost any in so long.
Still, I'll keep going and as I said there is a light at the end.

Jeanious, I agree with you that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Keep up the good work. I admire your perseverance or control of not eating beyond your diet. It is best to stick to our diet plan suggested by our surgeons.

Thanks all. I'm feeling a bit nauseous today and my legs are sore, I think they're screaming for food! I will persevere. I went to a friends yesterday for a cuppa and she brought out the dreaded timtam biscuits ( my favorite). I never had one but could smell the aroma as I walked passed them. No no no! I kept saying to myself. I did it.
    Have a great day all.

Yes. So much easier to deal with the crazy pre op when you know there is an end date. Good luck!
