I do not really feel hungry and at the same time, when I eat (and I am doing exactly what I was directed to do), I don;t feel full. The only time I get a feeling of fullness is when I drink my protein shake. Is this normal?

    Hey Barb,

Yes, completely normal. The protein shakes are extremely heavy and make you full very easy. Just make sure that when you are having your meals that you don't eat more than 1 cup because you don't want to stretch your new pouch too easily. I hope this helps.

    All the best,
    Michael

You really won't feel the full feeling until you are on solids. Or possibly pureed/soft. I also had to eat 2 tablespoons at a time then wait and have some more or I would not even come close to meeting my protein goals.

Also, stomach acid can mimic hunger pangs. Are you on anything for it? A lot of surgeon's prescribe it automatically. Mine did not and I had to request it from my PCP.
