Hysterectomy Blues

Good afternoon, Has anyone had a total abdominal hysterectomy since having the gastric sleeve? I had sleeve surgery in 2012 and I've been successful in maintaining my weight. I had a TAH 7 weeks ago and I have had major weight gain 12 lbs since surgery. Anyone out there gone through this?

    Sorry, I haven't had that kind of surgery.

    Congrats, btw, on maintaining your weight so well prior to surgery.

    I'd imagine with a TAH that your activity levels are pretty well curtailed for a while. Is that the case?

    And has your eating changed in any way post-TAH surgery?

    Yes, my activity level is low I do walk. My appetite has changed some I crave salt. I just got back to work so that may help me to shed this weight by moving more.

    Hormonal changes. Are you on hormone therapy?
