It was a lie...

Rate this Entry

I had a Pain Management appointment on the 3rd of this month and was told I needed a spinal injection for the fall/winter months. I was so bummed out the rest of the day I didn't care about anything after that. Well, I had my WLS follow-up appointment 3 hours later and was so ready to go home, I really didn't pay the appointment any attention. I got on the scale and it said 170, I shrieked and then it hit me, 'can this be right?' I figured it was at the Dr's office it must be right, I got home and got on the scale and it said 208! I tried on some jeans that I knew was too tight and they fit the same as always...tight! Then I realized the scale at the Dr's office was wrong, I didn't lose that much weight talk about confused. I should have said something back at the Dr's office, but I didn't and till today I feel bad! It wasn't even the normal staff that I am used to seeing when I go to my appointments. But hopefully they will call me soon with my 6-8 wk appointment and I will be in a better mode of attitude. Oh, by the way, I got on the scale today and it said...203! Now that sounds more like it!!!!!!!

You got this. I would know if I saw a weirdly huge drop. I weigh myself regularly and even if the scale at the DR's office is a little off from mine I always know what my weight is doing. But you are looking great Ms. Laurie so don't get hung up on the scale!

Thanks, I don't normally weigh myself that much anyway. It was just an error at the Dr's office. But it is a slow moving process that test my patience alot and actually I am doing good. Almost 2 mos down and I am enjoying the new me! Your encouragement means alot, Thank You!!

You know after a few weeks, I am laughing at it because I went to my PCP and I weighed 203, and I told the nurse what happen before and she said I better weigh again to make sure, lol!
