Survived Day 1 of My Elimination Diet

I shared in a previous post that I'm working on increasing my iron intake and doing an elimination diet. I started yesterday by removing cane sugar, wheat, almonds and dairy out of my diet. I survived and even wrote about it on my blog:

    Good luck on this journey of eliminating those foods. I am a daily latte drinker and don't think I could give up the milk and coffee. I can do without the sugar, wheat, and almonds. Hopefully this elimination will go well. As for your asparagus soup....I absolutely love asparagus and asparagus soup. Was it good??

    I've missed going to Starbucks for a latte these past two days. I like their almond and soy milk, but they have sugar in them. So, it's coffee at home these days. It will be better for my diet and budget, anyway.
