C25K Week 1 Day 3!! Week one COMPLETE!! 9 weeks post op today!

Woohoo! Week one is under my belt! I am feeling phenomenal! Love this program more than I can possibly express. A little soreness in my thighs but not unbearable and no issues when I go running with that feeling. It hurts so good. LOL. I am very excited about week 2. I know from last time, that it does get harder and there were weeks that I repeated so I would feel "comfortable" with it. I was a lot heavier then so I wonder if I will need to repeat weeks this time around
I was talking to my husband tonight and was commenting on how it is amazing to me that I can eat so little and still have enough energy to do my work out. I am sure I am burning a decent amount of calories. Especially considering what I take in. When I do my walk part I walk briskly. My husband hates that part. I guess because he is not a fast walker to begin with. I have always been able to walk pretty fast. Especially considering that I'm 4'11" and always have people tell me to slow down.
I really need to step up my strength training days. I don't want to get too soft looking. Running is great cardio but balancing with strength training is crucial. While I am doing well, I do think it is time to up the ante to guarantee my success.
Every day I wake up and feel so blessed to have made this decision. I can't believe that it has been 9 weeks already. It has flown by. And while I am not losing as fast as some of my fellow sleevers, the changes I am seeing in my body is amazing. I do my measurements this Sunday. I will post my results. I have lost a lot of inches and gone down several sizes already so I don't really worry about the scale as much.

    I love this program. When I attempted to start jogging again, I found a great one with hip-hop music that helped me push a little harder. It's called Suz's C25K. I can't wait to get back to that lifestyle.
