I was sleeved in Jan 2014 and had been complaining about slow weight loss
I do not exercise as I should, or take protein as I should but I am learning
Rome truly was not built in a day. I did not gain this weight overnight.
Since the surgery, my mom passed April 2014 I was caregiver for over thirty years with the last two mom being in nursing home. But I was the only child of four who went to doctors appt etc even right after surgery, nothing stopped.
She had diabeties , heart etc, all things that were starting to plague me.
I had asthma, pre-diabeties, heel spurs, achilles tendenitis, plantar fastitis, swelling ankles, sleep apnea, and arthritis. My body hurt all the time. I could not tie my shoes, put on seat belt without an extender and I was depressed, tired, tired.
Well I recently went to Puerto Rico for mothers day and my daughters 25th birthday. I walked faster than she did. I was not out of breath. I did not need a seat belt extender and I was wearing a size 14/16 instead of a 22.
The scale moves slow but there is victory in the sleeve.
Keep at it....I did not believe it...We can do this with GOD's help....
