    Surgeries ive had, they bring u to pre-op and start an iv, get u on an o2 meter, the anesthesiologist, surgeon and any specialists come in separately and explain their part in ur procedure to u, then theres a lot of waiting in between. U can have usually up to 2 ppl with u in pre-op. HTH

    They strip you, get you in a gown, start IV, ask tons of medical questions, make sure you followed pre op anesthesia requirements, start anesthesia and wheel you back = )
