    It depends on you, your health, your BMI, your other co morbities, and how well your body does under surgery/stress.

    It varies I've seen off 5 days, and off 8 weeks.

    It also depends on what your work allows. Some have a policy of weight loss surgery down time. Ask your Dr though, because he will tell you "I can write you a note for work, to be out XX amount of days". See what his policy is too-
