Good afternoon my trip to Mexico was fine, the surgery wasn't as bad as expected. The major problem I had was how awful I felt with the gas pain. I felt uncomfortable after surgery. Even though the hotel was nice I could not sleep. I was told to walk off the gas pain but that didn't help. Leaving Mexico we had to catch the bus at 6am even though my flight didn't leave until 12:40pm. Got to the airport around 7am had to wait over 5 hours to get on my flight. The 13 hour travel time made it worst. To be honest if I had to do it again I wouldn't do it. The only real advise I can give you is to buy a lot of GasX strip and walk as much as you can.
