Hi there! Great to hear from you. Yes,tell me about differences! This was really a life changing experience. What started as a quest to get healthy, became, for me at least, a journey to explore a person I didn't know existed and apparently society discover thin people too, as we become noticeable and popular. Cruel, shallow and very unfair. But we couldn't beat them so I joined. Good to hear you're well. Was only happy to help anyone who needed encouragement to do this. After all, everyone has the right to better themselves. Cheers!
What a difference a month short of a year makes. It's coming up to my 1 year anniversary. How's your life with the sleeve going? I'm so bloody thankful that I've had this done and wanted to thank you also for your support when I was so anxious pre-surgery. It helped.
Choccy to keep from losing - un-bloody-believable. If you hadn't told me I'd never believe it. Thanks for the support. I'm going to be fine.
Jen, being jittery is normal, but remember that the beauty of this is that all you really have to do is show up,undress,go to sleep and wake up ! (reminds me of some of my dates). Funny, it's far less risky than our drive to work everyday. If you need MORE encouragement, than how about this: I'm having chocolate as I write this so to keep my current weight on. That's right, a DOCTOR, tells ME, yes ME, how NOT to lose weight! Anyone dealing with obesety for decades would understands how unbelievable that is,and all so sudden as well. P.S. that eco bag is used to carry tins of danish butter to my café. Life can be funny. cheers.
Hiya Oz - I can see you are still losing weight. Planned or divine intervention? I'm getting so damned jittery, provides terrific meditation practice as I calm myself down. I reckon I'd frame that Eco bag from the Hospital before it naturally degrades itself. Hope you're still going well. Jen
Oh My Word! It's a completely new you!! This is an amazing transformation. Congratulations.
Hiya. Thanks for endorsement. I've got 5 days until I meet the surgeon to discuss the op and determine if he will take me on. BMI is 38 and another lady here in Perth had to twist his arm. I've been umming and ahhhing for a couple of weeks and it will be good to get some real info regarding options. Cheers and have a great Easter. No choccy eggs this year I guess for me as I keep trying to d the right thing.
Hey there. Thanks for the post on my single & sucks rant. That day wasn't a good one. Having been lighter and now back to where I started I've really noticed how invisible we large people can be even though we take up more space. You are right it is about health and well being - physical and mental. Were the results of your procedure what you expected? Love your before and after photo - you look a lot happier and younger. Cheers Jen
